Inside Cover:

The Allegheny Club started out as a dream over 25 years ago, when plans were bring drawn up to build a new stadium for both the Pirates and Steelers.  Those involved realized this would be a great opportunity to create a unique dining club to accompany the city's rich sports heritage.  Wanting to make it better than any others, the 14 founders, the chief architect, and the designer decided to create an authentic and impressive sports motif: dedicated to the preservation of countless sports mementos.

The paneling in the Club is a replica of those in Exposition Park, and the archways in the bar are replicas of the entrance arches to Forbes Field.  Throughout the club, you can see old seats from Forbes Field, the wall over which Bill Mazeroski hit his game-winning homerun in the 1960 World Series, scoreboard numbers from Forbes and Exposition Park, a bust of Roberto Clemente and photos of famous Steelers and Pirates.  The Allegheny Club is one of the few stadium clubs where you can dine and enjoy the game at the same time, thanks to the wonderful panoramic view of the field.

For 25 years, the Allegheny Club has hosted meetings, conventions, dinners, private and public banquets with the ultimate in service and convenience.  Congratulations.  Here's to another 25 years.
